The shortage of doctors in health institutions is being filled. So far 94 new Medical Practitioners have been appointed. As many as 112 new doctors have been deputed in various health institutions in the state as per need.
The process of setting up medical university after the name of Kalpana Chawla at village Kutail in district Karnal has been started. It would have courses upto MBBS, MD and MDS level. Also, it would have courses of para-medical and nursing upto post graduate level.
A CBNAAT machine has been set up in Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Medical College, Nalhar to trace multi drug resistant tuberculosis. This would benefit districts namely Mewat, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal and Rewari.
A dialysis machine and Central Research Laboratory have been set up in Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Medical College, Khanpur Kalan.
As many as 10 ultrasound machines have been sealed in the state under PCPNDT Act and registration of 13 ultrasound centres have been cancelled.
An Endoscopy Helpline has been set up in Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. A MoU has been signed between Department of Health Research of Government of India and University to set up Multi Faculty Research Laboratory at a cost of Rs 5.25 crore. Also, the Central Government has approved setting up of Viral Diagnostic Laboratory there.

Upgradation of Smt. Indira Gandhi Multi Specialty Government Hospital, Kaithal.
The PHC in Badshahpur, district Gurgaon has been upgraded to CHC and a sum of Rs five crore would be provided for construction of its building.
