  • Bonanza of incentives for Panipat announced 20-12-2014

    Chandigarh, December 20 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today announced a bonanza of incentives for Panipat which included moving the local bus stand to sector 13-17 and sugar mill panipat to Dahar and revival of ancient Hali lake.         The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering during public meeting and redressing grievances at Panipat today.        In order to deal with traffic problem in Panipat district, the Chief Minister announced to construct  bypass from Chajpur to Panipat via (Siwah). The road along drain number 2 from Barst road to Sanoli road would be constructed and the traffic of Assandh road would be diverted from TDI flyover. He said that these works would provide permanent solution to traffic problem. He said that by reviving the ancient Hali lake, a long pending demand of people would be fulfilled. The Chief Minister said that land would be identified first to materialize the scheme for waste management. He said that the State Government is committed to remove corruption from the state.         He said that people have given him the chance to serve and he would definitely fulfil their aspirations. He said that the State Government has decided to celebrate December 25, 2014 as 'Good Governance Day' on the birthday of former Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Also, ‘CM Window' would be inaugurated at all district headquarters so that the grievances of the people directly reach the government for redressal and people would not have to visit Chandigarh. He said that for this, reports would be collected from all districts on 12th and 26th of every month. He asked the present MLAs to bring new schemes for their towns so that development works could be carried out in order to meet the expectations of the people.         The Chief Minister received about 600 complaints during the public meeting at Panipat today for which he had issued necessary directions to the concerned officers. Earlier, he had a meeting with administrative officers of the district to get detailed information of development works.
