State Government is committed to ensure all round development of the State : CM 24-12-2014
Chandigarh December 24: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today said that the present State Government is committed to ensure all round development of the State without any regional discrimination. Initially those areas would be taken up which have been lagged behind in terms of development. He was addressing the people while redressing their grievances at Kaithal today. While expressing concern over the development of district Kaithal, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the district needs more works. He said those few works which were carried out in the district during the previous regime were undertaken only with an eye to take political benefits. On this occasion, he also announced a slew of incentives for the people of the district which included a new girl’s college at Guhla-Cheeka, extension of general hospital at Kaithal with facility of MRI and CT scan. He also announced that arrangements would be made for drainage of water in all villages on priority basis. Apart from this adequate supply of drinking water would also be ensured in the district. The Chief Minister said that the priority of the government is to provide a transparent administration to the people. We will do what we have committed and will show what we will do. Taking a dig at the previous government in the State, he said that they used to lay stone for various development works which were never started. Similarly, they used to make tall announcements which were not materialized. He said that the present State government will take into consideration the position of its financial resources before making any announcement. To increase the State resources, either we will go the Centre or develop its own resources, he added. He said that the state government would generate ample opportunities for employment and also ensure industrial development in the State. He said that our former Prime Minister used to say that out of one rupee given by the government only 10 paisa reaches the people. But we will ensure that hundred per cent funds reach the people. Mr Manohar Lal said that the State Government is going to launch CM Window at all district headquarter tomorrow for redressal of people’s grievances. Now the people need not to visit Chandigarh as they could give their complaints at the CM window at their concerned district headquarter and it will automatically reach to Chandigarh. This would save their time and resources, he added. He said that new system of on-line registration of sale deeds would also be launched at eight tehsils tomorrow. Soon this system would be implemented in all teshils of the State, he added. Later, while addressing the party workers, he said that an 11 members monitoring committee would be constituted at vidhan sabha level so as to ensure the effective implementation of development work and also give feedback to the concerned MLAs and Ministers. He exhorted them to take pledge to set a new Guinness Book of Records for enrolling maximum number of members in the party. While presiding over a meeting of district officers, the Chief Minister said that to provide a corruption free administration and to give due right to the eligible people would be the priority of the government. He also directed the concerned officers to reduce line losses and said that for this people should be motivated to pay bills.
