  • CM approved over Rs seven crore to carry out development works at Ambala Cant, Nuh and Bawal. 26-12-2014

          Chandigarh December 26- The Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has approved over Rs seven crore  to carry out development works at Ambala Cant, Nuh and Bawal. Besides, he also approved a sum of Rs 50 lakh for augmentation of water supply at five places falling under Municipal Corporation Ambala. While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the development works to be carried out at Ambala Cant, Nuh and Bawal included replacement of pipeline in Ambala Cant, laying of sewerage system and construction of STP at Nuh and installation of independent feeder  for feeding  three MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant at Bawal in district Rewari.           While a sum of about Rs 2.34 crore has been approved for replacement of pipeline in Ambala Cant, over Rs 4.45 crore has been approved for  laying of sewerage system and construction of Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Nuh in district Mewat. Similarly, a sum of Rs 25 lakh have been approved for installation of independent feeder at Bawal in district Rewari.           He said that the tube wells would be installed at four villages Naggal, Sarseri, Macchonda-chanderpur and Nanhera-Kuldip Nagar and Defence Colony falling under Municipal Corporation Ambala to augment the water supply  of these areas.
