  • CM announced a sum of Rs 70 crore for various works in district Bhiwani 26-12-2014

    Chandigarh, December 26 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today announced a sum of Rs 70 crore for various works in district Bhiwani which included Rs 10 crore for renovation and construction of new roads of Bhiwani City and Rs 60 crore for renovation of roads in rural areas.         The Chief Minister was redressing the grievances of people at Bhiwani today. He said land would be soon identified for setting up Ch. Bansi Lal University and all facilities would be provided in it. Apart from this, medical college would also be set up soon so as to provide better healthcare facilities to people of the district and nearby areas.         He also announced setting up of another Government Senior Secondary School for Girls and construction of building in Government College for Girls in Badhada. Apart from this, the Chief Minister announced setting up of bypass to do away with the traffic problem and construction of park on Municipal Corporation land at Dadri road. The Chief Minister said that people living in nearby areas and those passing through Dadri road have been suffering due to dumping of garbage on Municipal Corporation’s land. It has been affecting not only the living of people but also farming activities. Therefore, the government has decided to construct a park on this land.         The Chief Minister has also announced not to acquire cremation ground falling in between the construction of new sector of Dadri City thus fulfilling a long pending demand of residents of Dadri. He said that it is first objective of government to fulfil the promises made during elections. He said that the pace of ongoing development works would be accelerated and funds would be released for pending works so that people would prove the allegations of discrimination levelled by previous government as baseless.         As many 375 complaints were received by the Chief Minister pertaining to power, water, pension, housing grant, public streets, construction of roads, upgrading schools, renovation of chaupals, and strengthening the level of miners. The Chief Minister heard the grievances of people seriously and assured their redressal in time bound manner.
