  • Award of land to be acquired would be announced as per the new land acquisition policy: CM 30-12-2014

    Chandigarh, Dec 30 –The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that the award of land to be acquired for welfare projects in the state would be announced as per the new land acquisition policy.           Speaking to media persons in Fatehabad today, he made it clear that the award had not yet been declared for the land for which Section 4 and 6 had been announced. It would be done according to the new land acquisition ordinance promulgated by the Union Government.           The state government would announce new sports policy to focus on the growth of sports talent. A new industrial policy is also on the anvil to spur growth. Wishing people a happy New Year, he said that the state government would work hard to answer the hopes and aspiration of people.           Answering a question, he said that bus fares would not be increased in the state. Maintaining that there is no shortage of urea fertilizers, he said that some people were spreading rumours. The previous government had a stock of one lakh metric tonnes of urea during its tenure, 60,000 tonnes less than the standard stock. The stock has since been replenished and now the farmers would not have to face any difficulty, he added.           He said the objective of the present government was to ensure transparent governance, corruption-free system and welfare of all people. As many as 1,250 complaints have so far been received through CM Window which has been launched for prompt redressal of grievances. All these would be redressed, he added.           Those present on the occasion included the state BJP President Mr. Subhash Barala, OSD to Chief Minister Capt Bhupinder Singh and MLA Dr. Kamal Gupta.
