CM urged Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev to establish yog institutions in Haryana 5-01-2015
Chandigarh, January 5 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today urged Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev to establish yog institutions in Haryana so as to impart knowledge of yoga to people. The State Government would provide full cooperation for this purpose. The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering in a function organized at Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar, Uttarakhand today. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister assured Swami Ramdev that Acharyakulam would be set up in each district of the state. This way Haryana will become the first state in the country to have Acharyakulam in its each district. He requested Acharya Bal Krishan to provide assistance to small and marginal farmers of Haryana for planting medicinal plants in their farms so as to promote the use of indigenous medicines and increase the income of the farmers. He said that Haryana would be developed as sports hub and all out efforts would be made for the promotion of sports in the state. Highly impressed with the performance of Kabbadi teams whom he had seen playing recently at village Badal of Punjab, he announced an amount of Rs one lakh each to Punjab and Haryana Men and Women Kabbadi teams. Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu and Haryana Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma also spoke on this occasion. Swami Ramdev, Acharya Bal Krishan and players of Punjab and Haryana Men and Women Kabbadi teams were also present on this occasion.
