Chandigarh, January 7- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal will make an appeal to the NRIs and other major industrialists to invest in Haryana during the ongoing 13th Pravasi Diwas Convention being organized at Gandhinagar, Gujarat from January 7 to 9, 2015. While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister would have Interactive Session with entrepreneurs of Haryana and Gujarat, NRIs and prospective investors on January 8, 2015 where he would give detailed information about new industrial friendly policy being prepared by the present State Government besides its new initiatives like CM window, e-Registration and CM portal for transparent governance. He said that on January 9, he would attend Chief Ministers' Plenary Session where Chief Ministers of about ten states and over 4,000 NRIs and industrialists are expected to participate in Apna Bharat-Apna Gaurav programme. There, the Chief Minister would apprise about close proximity of Haryana to the national capital, New Delhi and Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Chief Minister would make an appeal to investors who have contributed significantly in the development of vibrant Gujarat to contribute in the progress and development of Haryana also. The Chief Minister desires to make Haryana a model state on the same pattern of Gujarat which became a model of good governance and development during the tenure of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, then Chief Minister of Gujarat. As people of Haryana has created history in the recent Vidhan Sabha elections, he would like to convert their hopes and aspiration into reality. Gujarat and Haryana are historically related as on the land of Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna delivered the message of Karma and Dwarika in Gujarat was his “Karamsthali”. The function would be attended by senior officers of Haryana Government, besides representatives of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation and would give information about industrial friendly atmosphere of the state which is conducive to investment.
