New Rest Houses would be constructed in Panchkula and Gurgaon: CM 14-01-2015
Chandigarh, Jan 14- Haryana government will construct new rest houses in the towns of districts Panchkula and Gurgaon. Besides this, a building comprising of 200 rooms will also be constructed in Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi. A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal here today. In a meeting, approval was given to construct the 200-room rest house in place of old rest house at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi. The Chief Minister informed that the new building in Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi would be constructed in place of old rest house. The building would have sufficient parking capacity and the construction of building would be completed in three phases. Giving details of rest house to be Constructed at Panchkula, the Chief Minister said that the Panchkula rest house would have about 82 rooms including one multi-purpose hall and two conference halls. Others who attended the meeting included Public Works Minister, Mr Narbir Singh, Chief Secretary Mr D S Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Principal Secretary Mrs Sumita Misra, Principal Secretary Finance, Mr P K Das and other officers of the department.
