Gym would be set up on two acres of land in every village: CM 27-01-2015
Chandigarh, January 27–The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that gym would be set up on two acres of land in every village where all facilities would be provided to the youngsters. The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion of the 4th death anniversary of late Ch Mittersain Arya Ji at the Pratibha Samman Samorah organized in the village of Khanda Kheri in Hisar district, today. Since our country dwells in the village, development of villages is one of the priorities of the state government. The Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, intends to provide every facility in villages which is necessary for the development of people. He took the initiative with the ‘Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana’ under which every MP would adopt one village in his constituency for development. On the same pattern, a scheme has been started under which every MLA will adopt one village for development. If every empowered social servant and industrialist adopts one village each and tries to meet its requirements, every village would become a model village. The Chief Minister said that today is the era of Information Technology and all works could be done while sitting at home. “I have a dream that every village should have a secretariat where all village level works would be done and records maintained. The secretariat would have record of every child since birth. Research for this project is under way”, he added. He disclosed that the panchayat of Ugalan village had offered to donate land for a girls’ college and soon it would be set up there. Today, foundation stone of a herbal park has been laid in Khanda Kheri village which would be set up at a cost of Rs 15 crore. About 50 varieties of medicinal plants would be sown in this park which would promote ayurveda. The state government wants to add a new chapter in the field of health by adding allopathy and ayurveda, he added. Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu, recalled the public welfare works done by his father late Ch. Mittersain Arya Ji, and shared with all the memories and struggles related to his life. Capt. Rudrasen Arya and Yoga Guru, Swami Ram Dev, also spoke on the occasion. Earlier, a blood donation camp was organized in the memory of late Ch. Mittersain Arya Ji in Khanda Kheri village where 351 people donated blood. The District Red Cross Society also launched a computer training mobile van.
