  • All villages in the State would be covered under the Aadarsh Gram Yojana; CM 9-02-2015

    Chandigarh February 9: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today said that all villages in the State would be covered under the Aadarsh Gram Yojana through Member of Parliament, MLAs, officers and social and voluntary organizations.           The Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed building of State Headquarter of Dainik Bhaskar Newspaper at Panipat today. On his appeal, the Bhaskar Newspaper Group announced to adopt one village of the district.           He said that the development of villages is among the top priorities of the State Government. He said that special emphasis was being given to ensure the development of villages. This would not only keep a check on the increasing migration to urban areas but also led to development of villages at par with urban areas.           The Chief Minister said that present BJP government in the State is working on the theme of ‘Sabka Saath- Sabka Vikas’. Describing today’s era as the era of technology and computer revolution, he said that a large number of newspapers were being published in the country. Newspapers not only raise public concerns but also play a vital role in transforming views and thoughts and creating awareness. The newspaper should remain neutral and also publicize the welfare schemes and programmes of the government launched for the benefit of the people, he added.           He said that e-registration system has been implemented in all Tehsils of the State to ensure transparency and hassle-free work at Tehsils. Apart from this, CM Window has been set up at all 21 District Headquarters to receive the grievances of people. He himself monitors the grievances received at these windows, he added. Similarly, web portal has been set up where people could also give their suggestions for good governance and added that good suggestions would be considered by the government.
