Haryana will provide technical Co-operation to Telangana and Mizoram for setting up of Centre of Excellence in Horticulture sector. 16-02-2015
Chandigarh February 16 : Haryana Government will provide technical Co-operation to Telangana and Mizoram for setting up of Centre of Excellence in Horticulture sector. A proposal to this effect has been approved by Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal. The Telangana and Mizoram governments had requested Haryana for providing technical co-operation for setting of such Centres in their respective States on the pattern of Centre opened in Haryana. In Telangana, a Centre of Excellence in Horticulture for flowers, vegetable and fruit production is to be set up at Jeedimetla in Ranga Reddy District. While Telangana has requested for technical support, Mizoram has set up a Technical Screening Committee for this purpose of which Director, Horticulture Haryana is a member. The experts of Haryana will visit these upcoming centres from time to time for providing technical co-operation of these projects.
