Rs 30 crore approved for strengthening the water supply and sewerage system in Haryana 19-02-2015
Chandigarh February 19: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has approved over Rs 30 crore for strengthening the water supply and sewerage system in various towns of the State. While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that while Rs 9.21 crore has been approved for improving urban water supply, Rs 20.94 crore has been approved for strengthening of sewerage system in various towns. The spokesman said that the fund which has been approved for urban water supply included Rs 7.10 lakh for preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for providing water supply and sewerage system in Ambala Sadar, Rs 143.30 lakh for laying of water supply pipe lines in deficient areas of Municipal Corporation, Ambala Sadar, Rs 495.35 lakh for canal based water projects in Zone-5 and Zone-6, Ambala Sadar and Rs 275.67 lakh for providing and laying of distribution pipeline in deficient areas of Barwala. Similarly the funds which have been approved for strengthening the sewerage system included Rs 850 lakh for providing outfall sewer starting from Toll Plaza Shadipur to S.K Road Yamunanagar, Rs 215.45 lakh for strengthening existing STP of 5.50 MLD in Jhajjar, Rs 38.23 lakh for providing independent feeder at 5 MLD STP in Jind, Rs. 53.61 lakh for providing 11KV line independent feeder in Kosli, Rs 68.70 lakh for providing 11KV independent feeder at Bawal, Rs 28.13 lakh for providing independent feeder for 40 MLD STP at Rohtak, Rs 38.35 lakh for providing 11 KV independent feeder at Rania, Rs 801 lakh for laying of sewer-line in various approved colonies of Bhagat Singh Colony and providing sewerage system in deficient areas of Sonipat Town.
