  • Water supply and strengthening of sewerage facilities in 15 additional towns 20-02-2015

    Chandigarh February 20: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has approved the augmentation of water supply and strengthening of sewerage facilities in 15 additional towns of the State under Economic Stimulus Package Programme. The Chief Minister has also directed to include 13 more towns under this programme. While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that fifteen towns which has been approved  by the Chief Minister for augmentation of water supply and strengthening of sewerage facilities are Farrukhnagar, Haily Mandi, Sohna, Pataudi and Ataily Mandi in district Gurgaon, Karnal, Gharaunda in district Karnal, Rewari , Bawal and Dharuhera in district Rewari,  Narnaund in district Hisar, Ambala Cantt., Nuh in district Mewat, Bahadurgarh in district Jhajjar, and Bawani Khera in distict Bhiwani.           He said the  thirteen towns which the Chief Minister has directed to further include under this programme are Naraingarh, Hisar, Nilokheri, Indri, Ladwa, Shahabad, Thanesar, Kalka, Panipat, Rohtak, Sonipat, Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhari. He said that the Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has also approved over Rs 3.43 crore for shifting of electric lines in Municipal Council, Bahadurgarh, district Jhajjar under the Rajiv Gandhi Urban Development Mission (RGUDM).           He said that, a sum of over 1.07 crore has been approved for shifting the 33 KV line interlink and city feeder from residential area of Bahadurgarh, while over Rs. 2.36 crore has been approved for shifting the 33 KV Delhi Bahadurgarh line feeder laid over colony, Bahadurgarh.
