    Chandigarh, March 29--The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that in order to inculcate moral values in students, the verses of Bhagwat Gita would be included in the school curriculum. There is no education without culture, and this spiritual book would give right direction to the society. He was speaking at the 14th state-level meeting of Bharat Vikas Parishad of Haryana. The Chief Minister said that all the 90 MLAs of the state would adopt one village each on the pattern of the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, and these villages would be developed into Adarsh vllages. Under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana launched by the Prime Minister, 15 MPs have adopted one village each. With every MLA  adopting one village, 105 Adarsh Villages would be developed in the state. He appealed to the MLAs to make their contribution to the scheme.           Mr Manohar Lal said that politics should be made a source of service to the people, not a source of power. The entire state would be developed without any bias and development works would be carried out in keeping with the ‘Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas’ slogan given by the Prime Minister. The state government would adhere to transparent and graft-free governance. Though the pace of development is slow we are moving in the right direction and soon the pace of development would pick up.  He said that by working in public interest, he would win maximum trust of the people. The total number of members of BJP in the state had crossed 25 lakh, and the target is to achieve membership of 10 crore members in the country. He hailed the Bharat Vikas Parishad for giving out the message of responsibility towards the society by following the values of service, help, culture and coordination. He said that he himself had worked selflessly and as a member of the Sangh and he learned a lot during that time. The Chief Minister congratulated the Parishad for its 46 branches and asked it to take branches to every village. He honoured four girls for their outstanding contribution in various fields and announced the decision to give the Parishad a plot in Sector-19 of  HUDA in Kaithal, and a sum of Rs 5 lakh. He also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for the welfare of Vanvashi Kalyan Ashram.
