  • CM has accorded approval for construction of 11 Railway over Bridges (RoBs) in Haryana with central assistance in coming three years. 7-04-2015

    Chandigarh, April 7 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has accorded approval for construction of 11 Railway over Bridges (RoBs) in Haryana with central assistance in coming three years. The State Government has decided to undertake the construction of these RoBs under National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) scheme.             While stating this here today, a spokesman of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department said that simultaneously this would provide good infrastructure and would serve the interest of both the local population and the visitors. He said that work on two RoBs at BamniKhera to Hassanpur road crossing Mumbai-Delhi Railway track in Palwal district and at Palwal Rasulpur Road via Kushak crossing Mumbai-Delhi Railway track would be undertaken in current financial year under NCRPB at a cost of about Rs.69.42 crore. The state government would share Rs.34.71 crore in this project. The State government would also request Union Ministry of Railways to include these RoBs in their work programme for year 2015-16.             He said that similarly, work of five RoBs would be started at a cost of Rs.162 crore. Out of the total expenditure, State government would share Rs.100.84 crore. These RoBs would be constructed at level crossing number 55 in Panipat district on Delhi Ambala Railway line, at level crossing number 579-A in Faridabad district on Delhi Mathura Railway line, at GT road Babapur Kachroli at level crossing number 58 in Panipat district on Delhi Ambala Railway line, at Lakhanmajra Meham road at level crossing 79 in Rohtak district on Delhi Rewari Railway line. Apart of that, one additional two lane RoB would be constructed at level x-ing number three on Hisar-Sadalpur railway line at Dabra Chowk, Hisar.             He said that work of four RoBs, already been included in the work programme of Railways, would also be undertaken under NCR loan scheme. These are at Bhiwani Hansi Road to Tosham byepass at level crossing number 54 A in Bhiwani district, at Hisar Ghursal road level crossing number 100 in Hisar district, at Bajida Jattan to Sirsi at level crossing number 67 in Karnal district and at Uchana to Rukhanpur level crossing number 73 in Karnal district.
