CM announced Rs 50 crore for the development of ‘Adi Badri’. 10-04-2015
Chandigarh, April 10 –Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today made several announcements amounting crores of rupees for district Yamunanagar and Radaur block which included developing village Topra Kalan of district Yamunanagar as a tourist place for which a sum of Rs 50 crore has been allocated. He said that Ashok Tower is located in Topra Kalan which has historical significance. In ‘Radaur Vikas Rally’ organized by MLA Mr. Shyam Singh Rana, the Chief Minister described Saraswati River as a Special River whose origin place is ‘Adi Badri’. He also announced a sum of Rs 50 crore for its development. The Chief Minister approved a sum of Rs 18.5 crore for 27 roads out of the 50 roads of Radaur and said that additional Rs 10 crore would be allocated for the remaining 23 roads. More funds would be provided for these roads if required. Also, the Chief Minister directed the officers of Municipal Corporation to carry out development works amounting to Rs 1.5 to Rs 2 crore in 12 villages falling in the area of Municipal Corporation, Radaur. He said that there is a plan to construct railway line between Yamunanagar and Chandigarh and soon work on it would be started. On the demand raised by MLA Mr. Shyam Singh Rana to upgrade Radaur as Sub-Division, the Chief Minister said that State Government had constituted a committee comprising three ministers which is going to examine such issues in entire state. It would submit its report and action would be taken accordingly. The Radaur Municipality would be set up according to the demand of the people, he added. He said that a sum of Rs three crore would be given for construction of bus stand at Radaur and the road from Alipura to Yamunangar would be made four-laned at a cost of Rs 80 crore. The Chief Minister also announced setting up of 66 KV sub-station at village Jamalpur and the 30-bedded Sub Health Centre at Raduar would be upgraded as 50-bedded. Regarding setting up of Primary Health Centre at village Antawa, he said that if population of the village is above 20,000 then PHC would be set up over there. Also, he announced a sum of Rs five crore for sewerage facilities. On the demand of setting up Community Centre in villages, the Chief Minister said that Community Centre would be set up in six big villages and announced Rs six crore for the same. Similarly, the veterinary centres would be changed into hospitals. The Chief Minister also announced a sum of Rs one crore for the Anaj Mandi where the function was being held. Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr. Kanwar Pal, Minister of State for Transport, Mr. Karan Dev Kamboj and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
