Chandigarh, April 12 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal has announced to open Village Secretariat in every village so that people can take the benefit of government schemes at their door steps. This was stated by the Chief Minister in an inauguration function of first such Village Secretariat at Village Haibatpur in district Jind. He said that inauguration of this Village Secretariat is first step in the direction of setting up Village Secretariat in every village of the State. The Chief Minister said all facilities would be made available for the people at Village Secretariat so that they don’t have to visit district headquarters to settle their issues and take benefits of government schemes. He said that the Village Secretariat has been built on 8,500 square feet area at the cost of Rs. 48 Lakh. Mr. Manohar Lal said that the Secretariat has 17 rooms with all modern amenities. This Village Secretariat has setup Yoga and Vyayamshala, Office of Sarpanch, Patwari and Village Secretary, Kisan Sewa Kendra, Post office, Health centre, Telephone exchange, Aanganwadi Centre, Bank branch, ATM facility, Election office, Intelligence department office, Police help centre, Vita booth, five shops of Computer and other technical products, Cooperative, Ration Depot office and Store and Marriage hall. In this Secretariat, Common Service Centre has been setup where facility of Issuance of all kind of government certificates like Domicile, Caste certificate etc. On the occasion BJP State President Mr. Shubhash Barala, Agriculture Minister Mr. O.P. Dhankar, Education Minister Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, MP Mr. Ramesh Kaushik and MLA Jasbir Deswal and Deputy Commissioner Mr.Ajit Balaji Joshi were also present.
