  • CM appealed to Industrialists and private investors for setting up solar power plant on the vacant land of Gram Panchayats 19-04-2015

    Chandigarh, April 19 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal today appealed to Industrialists and private investors for setting up solar power plant on the vacant land of Gram Panchayats. The state government would provide all necessary facilities to them.             The chief minister was addressing  the Vishal Power panchayat at village Mithi in Bhiwani, after inaugurating, the first of its kind, 5 MW Solar Power Plant Project. This project has been setup by Siwana Solar Power Project Pvt. Ltd. The Chief Minister said that the state government has removed all the hurdles coming in the setting up of this project. On the occasion, the Chief Minister honoured the owners of the companies with appreciation letter.             He also appealed the people to pay their electricity bills on time. He said that the state government is formulating a scheme to encourage the people to setup small solar power plant on the rooftop of their buildings. He said that it has also been planned to setup solar power plants on rivers and canals, on the pattern of Gujarat, to generate electricity.
