    Chandigarh, April 25- The pace of railway projects in Haryana, including the  setting up of proposed rail coach factory, is to be further accelerated as soon an agreement between the Railway Ministry and Haryana Government is to be signed to set up a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).           This was revealed by Union Minister for Railways, Mr Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu while inaugurating the commencement of electrification of Rohtak-Bathinda-Lehra Mohabbat Rail line costing Rs 294 crore in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister at Railway Station, Rohtak today.           On the issue of setting up of a Rail Coach factory raised by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, the Union Minister said the factory would be set up on Public Private Partnership mode.                   Mr Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu appreciated that the Chief Minister discussed about various railway projects with him and together with Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi he has a vision to take Haryana on the path of development.  The Union Minster gave directions to the railway officials on the demand raised by the Chief Minister to either make underground passage for the railway line track passing through Rohtak city or make passage over the bridge on the pattern of Metro through pillars. The Union Minister also assured to meet the demand of modernization the Rohtak railway station and to start train between Bhiwani and Haridwar. He said that railway station in Gurgaon is also being modernized with the help of CSR. For the smooth work flow on the railway projects in Haryana, every month discussions would be held between senior officials of the railway and state government.           Union Railway Minister said that in the near future, Rs 8.5 lakh crore of investment would be made on railways. He said that in past not much investment was made on railways resultantly, rail and railway network instead of strengthening has weakened. He said that in the next five years target of electrification of 2,000 kilometer railway line every year has been fixed which is the sofar highedst target. It is the vision of Prime Minister Mr Narendra  Modi that railway ministry works hand in hand with state governments on railway projects. The development of Railway is connected with the development of the nation, he said adding an example of China, when the development rate of the country would reach 12 per cent from 10 per cent then poverty would end in the country.           Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that electrification of Rohtak-Bathinda-Lehra Mohabbat Rail line would have benefits like faster speed between two states, easy operation, beginning of M.I.M.U services and favourable environment for commuters. The Chief Minister expressed his happiness over the positive initiative on the work of railway projects in Haryana and said that with the formation of SPV, the proposed railway projects in Haryana would pick up pace. The Chief Minister also demanded to soon complete the work on railway lines of Karnal-Yamunanagar, Fatehabad-Mansa, Firozpur Jhirka-Alwar, Hisar-Sirsa via Agroha along with many other new lines and Jind-Sonipat railway line. He also spoke about making secure the 119 unmanned railway crossings in Haryana. The Union Minister gave many railway projects to Haryana and Chief Minister said that in future too Haryana would get many such railway projects.
