The ex-gratia grant of defence services has been enhanced.
The family members of martyr soldiers would be given Rs 20 lakh instead of Rs 2.5 lakh and family members of martyr soldiers in bum blasts would be given Rs 20 lakh instead of Rs two lakh.
The dependents of martyr soldiers who lost their lives on work in the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces would be given ex-gratia grant of Rs 20 lakh. On the basis of disability, now Rs five lakh, Rs ten lakh and Rs 15 lakh would be given as against Rs 50,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs one lakh given earlier.
The work has been allotted for 264 Type ‘A’ flats to be constructed in Panchkula for military and paramilitary forces and 544 EWS flats to be constructed in Sirsa.
