  • CM announced one-time waiver of interest on property tax arrears between 2010-11 and 2014-15 to all tax payers 21-06-2015

    • Chandigarh, June 21— Giving a major relief to the people of the state, the Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has announced one-time waiver of interest on property tax arrears between 2010-11 and 2014-15 to all tax payers provided the payment is made within two months, byAugust 31, 2015.
    •             Mr Manohar Lal made this announcement while addressing the gathering at the foundation laying ceremony of the new office building of the Municipal Corporation in Karnal, today.
    •             Besides, rebate of 30 per cent on all outstanding arrears for the period 2010-11 to 2012-13 would also be given provided the property tax is paid within two months. In addition, the concession of 10 per cent rebate on property tax for fiscal 2015-16 has been extended up to August 31, 2015.
    •             The Chief Minister said that a transparent system was being implemented in the state. All works of public interest would be implemented on a priority basis. An action plan has been prepared to redress public grievances in a time-bound manner. He directed the officers present to complete all works of public interest without any delay.
