  • Issue of filling up management quota seats by private medical colleges through separate entrance examination would be taken up with Indian Medical Council: CM 27-06-2015

    • Chandigarh June 27 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal said that the issue of filling up management quota seats by private medical colleges through separate entrance examination would be taken up with Indian Medical Council.
    • While giving this information at Rohtak today, the Chief Minister said that State Government has decided to open Medical College in every district to promote medical education in the state and in days to come, there would be at least one medical college in every district be it private or government medical college.
    • He said that by promoting medical education the state government wants to produce a large number of doctors so that there is no shortage of doctors in the state. The State Government has so far appointed about 100 doctors to meet the shortage of doctors in medical institutions.
    • The Chief Minister said that 112 doctors have been deputed as per requirement of various medical institutions in the state and process is on to recruit 100 new doctors. He said that 100 new hospital buildings, 12 new community centres and 12 Primary Health Centres would be constructed during the year 2015-16.
