Scheduled Caste students of poor families whose annual family income is up to Rs 3.50 lakh will given financial assistance of Rs 30,000 from earlier Rs 20,000 against diploma courses fee for the academic session 2015-16 and Rs 70,000 from earlier Rs 40,000 for under graduate or Post Graduate technical courses.
Best quality tablets worth Rs 8,000 will be provide to the 2nd year SC students of diploma, under-graduate and post-graduate courses for the academic year 2015-16.
The Integrated Skill Development Scheme of the Central Government has been approved in Haryana, under which in seven districts Panipat, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Ambala and Rohtak courses related to garments, cutting, knitting and handloom will be initiated.
