Giving major relief to employees who had retired before January 1, 2006, the government has decided to revise their pension. Now, it has been decided to set up pension up to 50 per cent of the sum of minimum of pay in the pay band and the grade pay corresponding to the pre-revised pay scale from which the pensioner had retired. On this basis, family pension would be increased up to 30 per cent. This would cause financial burden of Rs 500 crore on state exchequer.
Increasing the ambit of family pension, girl deprived of livelihood due to disability would get family pension even after her marriage. The eligible disabled children born before or after retirement would also get benefit of family pension.
The decision to give an exgratia grant of Rs three lakh in case of death of adhoc, contract or employee engaged on DC rate at work place.
Bio Metric Attendance System has been introduced to ensure presence of Employee in the state on 2 May 2015.
