Chandigarh, July 18- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today announced that the state government has formulated a new policy under which one large industrial unit or a large industrial project would be established in each of the 21 districts of the state as a result of which about 2.25 lakh persons would get employment.
The Chief Minister was addressing a largely attended 'Vikas Rally' at Anaj Mandi in Bhiwani today.
The Chief Minister also hinted at initiating mining work in mining areas. The Chief Minister also dedicated two water treatment plants of total 150 million litres per day capacity to the people in Bhiwani city.
Mr Manohar Lal said,”when BJP government was formed in Haryana, we had assured to fulfil our promises and had said that what we do, would tell the public”. Theefore, soon the details of development works in all Vidhan Sabha constituencies would be available online. The Chief Minister also dedicated schemes related to health and education sectors to increase the pace of development of Bhiwani.
The Chief Minister said that foundation stones of medical college and new campus of a university would soon be laid in Bhiwani. He said that today there are a large number of schools and hospitals but they have many shortcomings. Therefore, in Haryana, recruitment of teachers, doctors and other employees has been started in a transparent manner to overcome their shortage. Besides this, the state government is also planning to make an arrangement of primary health centres in small villages, community health centres in big villages and big hospitals at block and district levels.
While taking a dig at the previous governments, the Chief Minister said that in the last 48 years, no government understood the problems of people. Therefore, despite having resources in abundance, the situation did not improve due to false intentions. He said that his government's strong stand against corruption would win the confidence of the people. He said that the vision of corruption-free government which was dreamt by the government in the last nine months, would achieved. He said that in order to keep vigil on development works in assembly constituencies, one vigilance committee each has been constituted. He also appealed to the people that wherever they find shortcomings in the working of the government these might immediately be broughr to the notice of the government with proof. He assured that on such issues immediate action would be taken. He said that the state government has zero tolerance for corruption even if any complaint of corruption is received during midnight. Therefore, immediate action would be taken in this regard.
The Chief Minister said that after the formation of BJP government, first time compensation of Rs 1,100 crore was given to farmers, Rs 125 crore was released for flood control and budget of Rs 1,300 crore was approved for the improvement of roads, which means for every assembly constituency Rs 65 crore were approved for roads. He said that in order to avoid flood like situation in Haryana, he said that he himself was monitoring the situation in all the districts in the State. He said that the state government would soon formulate a policy under which illegal colonies would be regularised.
Haryana Education Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma said that with the efforts of the Chief Minister Mr Mahohar Lal a National Highway has been approved between Kotputli – Bhiwani and Bhiwani – Hansi, the foundation stone of which would soon be laid.
After announcing a number of projects for the development of Bhiwani, the Chief Minister assured to fulfil the maximum demands raised by MLA Bhiwani, Mr Ghansyam Saraf. The projects that he announced for Bhiwani included JBT institutions, restart of Milk plant, upgradation of four schools in assembly constituency, sewerage treatment plant in sector – 21-26, 33kv substation, development of old ponds of Bhiwani on the pattern of lakes. With the efforts of MP Dharambir Singh , Rs 3 crore have been sanctioned by the Central government for a stadium in Bhiwani, he added.
