Chandigarh, August 6: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that the priority of the present State Government is to provide transparent and graft-free administration in the State.
Mr Manohar Lal was addressing the concluding session of 2-day Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahaabhiyan at Kurukshetra today.
While giving credit to the party workers for the unprecedented victory of BJP in the State, he said that the present government has completed its nine months and 10 days tenure and achieved a number of milestones in this short period. He said that people have voted BJP to Power with high hopes and aspirations and acting on same we have made significant changes in the system which was jeopardized in the previous regime.
He said that on the formation of BJP government, some people described the government as inexperienced. He said that there is no doubt that we do not have the experience of corruption, favoritism and nepotism. But we have the experience to serve the people of the country and State and described the power as a mean to serve the people and not to rule them. He said that he treated the 2.5 crore population of Haryana as his family and would work to ensure that the benefit of all welfare schemes and programmes reach every citizen including poor and downtrodden.
He said that the CM Window has been started at all district Headquarters where anybody could register his complaint and the same would be redressed within a month. He said that now a call centre has also been started where the complainant would be called to enquire whether his complaint has been redressed or not. Apart from this, the government has also started various e-services like birth and death registration, e registration of sale deeds. Now the government has also made available C form online thus giving the traders in the State a big relief.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to change the mind set of the people to deal with challenges like casteism and also exhorted the workers to work with the spirit of ‘ Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek’ to usher in a new era of prosperity in the State. While describing the workers as strength of the party, he said that the number of party members in the State have reached between 25 lakh to 30 lakh. He urged all the 20,000 active members to popularize the schemes and programmes of the State Government so that the people could take benefit of the same.
