  • The use of technology has made it easier for the Government to reach every person: CM 7-10-2015

    • Chandigarh, October 7 – Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki today launched the website of Haryana Raj Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal. Now, any person can browse the website www.haryanarajbhavan.gov.inand get information about the Raj Bhavan.
    • Prof. Solanki said that the State Government under the leadership of Mr. Manohar Lal is making proper use of information technology for ensuring transparency. He said that he believed that the Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India would be fulfilled first in Haryana, as the State is leading in terms of use of information technology for governance.
    • Praising the Chief Minister, the Governor described him as an active and popular Chief Minister. He said that Mr. Manohar Lal has good knowledge of information technology and was making optimum use of it for providing good governance in the State. He expressed belief that soon every person of every village and city in the State would get the facility of easy access to the government through the medium of information technology.
    • Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manohar Lal said that it was the aim of the Government to provide good governance and transparency and put a check on corruption, and this work was being done in an efficient manner through the medium of information technology. He said that the use of technology has made it easier for the Government to reach every person. For this purpose, Village Secretariats have been established in Haryana, through which villagers can communicate their problems and needs to the government and the administration.
    • Haryana Minister of State for Food and Supplies, Mr. Karan Dev Kamboj, Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr. Bikram Singh Yadav, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Bakhshish Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal, Chandigarh BJP President, Mr. Sanjay Tandon, Director General, State Vigilance Bureau, Mr. S.N. Vashisht, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education, Mr. Vijai Vardhan and Secretary to Governor, Mrs. Neelam P. Kasni were also present on this occasion.
