Chandigarh, October 27 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that by following the principle of ‘Ek Int - Ek Rupaiya’ given by Maharaja Agrasen 5000 years ago, the Vaish Samaj has realised the spirit of antodaya by supporting the poorest of the poor.
The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering on the occasion of 34th Sharad Purnima Mahotsav at Agroha Dham in district Hisar today. Union Minister for Railways, Mr. Suresh Prabhu was the Chief Guest whereas the function was presided over by Jharkhand Chief Minister, Mr. Raghubar Das. Union Minister for Power, Mr. Piyush Goyal also welcomed all guests.
He said that the present state government has completed its one year tenure on October 26. He said that he cannot claim that he has completely eradicated corruption, but it has reduced considerably within this one year. He said that we are developing such system with the help of information technology where nobody could indulge in corruption even if he or she wants to.
The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to elevate Hisar airport as international airport. He said that shortcomings of Agroha Medical College would be removed so that people could get better healthcare facilities. He said that the work of four laning of national highway between Rohtak, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa was inaugurated by Union Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari and the work would be completed in next six months.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Suresh Prabhu said that the Aggarwal Samaj has undertaken various works for the development of the country. He said that every section of the society should learn from Vaish Samaj. He stressed on the need for skill development to eliminate poverty and unemployment. He said that the Indus Valley Civilisation had started from Haryana and the state is self dependent in all spheres.
Union Minister for Power, Mr. Piyush Goyal congratulated the Haryana Chief Minister and people of the state for successful completion of one year tenure of the state government. He said that we all should work together for the all-round development of the society.
Jharkhand Chief Minister, Mr. Raghubar Das congratulated the Agroha Vikas Trust for world class recognition. He said that we have got the message of peace and prosperity from Aggarwal Samaj and it has the quality of social equality and harmony.
