Chandigarh, November 6 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal today said that one of the top priorities of the State Government is to provide qualitative education to the children right from the primary level. The recommendations to introduce board exams for fifth and eight standard is a step in this direction.
The Chief Minister was interacting with the media persons after addressing the educationists during State Level Consultative Meet on New Education Policy organized by Higher Education Department here today.
While replying to a question, he said that Aadhar based admission in schools from class I has started so as to ensure cent percent admission of students. After the implementation of this system, as many as 350 schools have been identified where the number of students is very less. After thorough verification of facts, action would be initiated against such schools, he added.
He said that the teachers would be provided training and recruit of teacher is in process to bring qualitative reforms in the educational system.
