  • CM exhorted the people of the State to always remain united and contribute in the development of State 9-11-2015

    • Chandigarh November 9: Stating that the people of village Atali, Ballabhgarh in district Faridabad has set an example of unity, harmony and brotherhood for others to follow, Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal exhorted the people of the State to always remain united and contribute in the development of State.
    • Mr Manohar Lal was addressing the members of both communities of village Atali who had called on to thank him here today for getting their issue resolved mutually and peacefully.
    • Greeting the villagers on the occasion of Diwali, the Chief Minister announced a sum of Rs one crore for various development works of the village. Besides, he also announced that they would get additional Rs 11 lakh in case; they elected the village Panchayat unanimously in Panchayat elections.  Also, the road from village Atali to Arua would be made pucca at a cost of Rs one crore. Compensation has already been given to the affected people of the village said the Chief Minister  adding that directions have also been given to the concerned officers to also assess the loss caused to the vehicles during the incident so that they could also be compensated accordingly.
    • While asserting that we were united, we are united and we would always remain united, the Chief Minister said that these incidents should not happen in the society as these incidents weaken the social fabric of any state or nation. He expressed happiness that the people of the village have taken the pledge to live together and hoped that they would set a unique example of peace and brotherhood in the State. He said that   besides the government efforts, wholehearted cooperation of people could help in easily resolving such issues. He urged the people of the village to always remain united thus taking the state further on the path of development.
    • The Chief Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the members of the Shanti Committee constituted to amicable resolve the issue. While Mr Baldev Alawalpur was the President   of the Shanti Committee, the other members included Mr Ram Niwas Nagar, Chairman Aadesh Naagar,  Panch Palu Naagar, Master Mahavir Dhankar, Mollvi Ramzan Khan and Israel Sarpanch.
    • MLA Prithla Mr Tek Chand Sharma and MLA Ballabhgarh Mr Moolchand Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
    • ADGP CID Mr Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor and ADGP Law and Order Mr Muhammad Akil, Media Adviser to Chief Minister Mr Amit Arya, OSD Mr Vijay Sharma and large number of people of village Atali were also present on this occasion.
