    • Chandigarh, December 9 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today called on the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi at PM residence in New Delhi and handed over a cheque of Rs. five crore towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund as relief for the flood victims of Tamil Nadu. Mr Manohar Lal expressed grief over destruction of property and deaths of people due to heavy rainfall in Chennai and other regions of Tamil Nadu. He said that the Government is taking all the necessary measures to provide relief to the flood victims. The people of Tamil Nadu are facing this natural calamity with courage, he added. He expressed condolences to the members of the grieved families. Resident Commissioner, Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan was also present on this occasion.
