    • Chandigarh, December 15 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has given approval to extend various concessions to the wards of Kashmiri migrants registered with other than Jammu and Delhi states, in the matter of their admissions in the institutes of higher education operating within Haryana.
    • While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Higher Education Department said that these concessions include relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10 per cent subject to minimum eligibility requirement and increase in intake capacity up to five per cent course-wise. Also, it includes reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical and professional institutions and waiving of domicile requirement. The spokesman said that the Department has issued instructions to all universities and colleges in the State, he added.
