Chandigarh, December 17 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said State Government is taking many important initiatives to realize the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi’s dream that every family of our country should have its own house by year 2022 when country will celebrate its 75th Independence.
For this, amendment has also been made in our affordable housing policy. The Chief Minister was addressing the Conclave organized by Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) at New Delhi today. He said that villages over 10,000 population would be provided sewerage and other facilities by according the status of ‘Nagar Panchayat’. He said that joint efforts are needed to fulfill the aim of ‘houses for all’ and it is not possible for a single agency or the government to make availability of houses for one and all. He said that new integrated licensing policy – 2015 has been made for the overall development of licensed colonies falling under urban areas of Gurgaon-Manesar, Faridabad-Ballabhgarh, Sohna, Dharuhera, Sonipat-Kundli, Panipat and Panchkula-Kalka Pinjore.
This policy would prove a milestone for development of urban areas. Mr Manohar Lal said that it is our objective to create more than four lakh employment opportunities in the State and to attract investment over Rs. one lakh crore. Effective measures are being taken to encourage tourism in the states. Haryana has a lot of scope for development as our national capital Delhi is surrounded by Haryana from three sides. He said that Global Investment Meet is being organized at Gurgaon from March 7 to 9, 2016 where entrepreneurs and investors from all over the globe would participate.
