Chandigarh April 11: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that in the golden jubilee year of Haryana, unique programmes would be launched to take State on new heights of development. Apart from implementing 28 Swarn Jayanti Schemes,many other schemes would be announced on the occasion of ‘Haryana Day’ this year, he added.
Mr Manohar Lal was addressing a ‘Vikas Rally’ organized at new vegetable market, Dabua Colony in Faridabad NIT Assembly constituency late last evening where he made several announcements for the benefit of the people of the area and also dedicated to them projects worth crores of rupees. He said that Faridabad and Gurgaon were not only the two important cities of Haryana, but also commercial hubs. He said that as both the cities are also the favourite destinations of entrepreneurs at national and international level , the State Government has a plan to develop modern rapid transport infrastructure in these cities. He lamented that since decades industrial development here remained paralyzed due to the faulty policies of the previous governments, but the decision to develop Faridabad as a smart city has infused a ray of new hope among the people. He said that with the commencement of Badarpur-Faridabad Metro Link, the economic activities in Faridabad would get a big boost.
The Chief Minister said that with a view to made available various government services in a time bound and transparent manner, a number of online services like e-registration of property, CM web portal, CM window, citizen portal ‘ HarSamay’, CM Dash Board, E-biz portal have been started. These services are a step forward in realizing the dream of ‘Digital India’ programme of Prime Minister, Mr Narenda Modi and also developing a new work culture in the society. He said that it was the dream of Mr Modi that when we commemorate 75th anniversary of freedom of our country in the year 2022, every family in the country should have its own house.
The State Government has taken effective steps in this direction. Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) would transform the cities in a big way, he added. While referring to the Jat reservation agitation in the State, he said that so far 1700 people in the State have been given compensation for the loss suffered by them. He said that a committee has been constituted to enable the people lodge complaint if anyone has any grievance regarding the distribution of compensation. The Committee received only 15 complaints and all these have been disposed off within a week. He urged the people to maintain communal harmony and work with the spirit of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’.He also greeted the people on the occasion on Navratras.
On this occasion, he announced a slew of incentives for the people of Faridabad NIT which included a decision to open State’s first Skill Development University in village Dudhaula, district Palwal, providing State Government’s approval to the proposal of connecting Faridabad with Gurgaon through metro link, city bus service for Faridabad and construction of direct road to Noida by way of constructing bridge on Yamuna. Apart from this, he also made a number of announcements for the development of Faridabad NIT. These included Rs 2.5 crore for drainage of sewage, approval to three “Puliya” via Dabua village Pali Police Post road project, construction of “barat ghar”, construction of “Chath Ghat” and Park in Ward No. 9 at a cost of Rs 1.75 crore, Rs 30 crore for the completion of pending projects of the area, approval for the construction of road from Saran Chowk to Press Colony, construction of five new “pucca Chath Ghat” at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore, Rs 20 crore for the construction of drains and streets in the area, Rs two crore for sewerage facilities in the area adjoining road connecting sector 52, Rs five crore for construction of roads and Phirni in villages and towns of the constituency and Rs two crore for Dharamshala and Community Centre in Rajiv Colony.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also announced to upgrade veterinary hospital in village Dhauj, construction of new veterinary hospital and new veterinary poly clinic in Fatehpur Taga, Rs 10.5 crore for construction of road on both sides of Gochi Drain, approval for the construction of road from Police Post to Nangla Gujran, approval for construction of road in village Mangar, opening of Skill Development Centre in Madhopur, approval for the construction of 12 kilometre four lanned road on Ballabhgarh-Sohna road upto Khori and additional budget of Rs 20 crore for the development of villages and town of Faridabad NIT. Earlier, he said that a new rainy-well project would be got prepared for Faridabad NIT.
Speaking on this occasion, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal, the Central and State Governments are working for the welfare of poor, farmers and labourers. He said that the Central Government has made a provision of Rs 80, 000 crore for the development of villages at par with cities. The villages having population of above 6000 would get Rs 80 lakh every year for development. On this occasion, Chandawli Gram Panchayat in district Faridabad contributed Rs five crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Political Secretary to Chief Minister Mr Deepak Mangla, MLA Mr Vipul Goyal, Deputy Commissioner Mr Chandrashekhar, Commissioner of Police Mr Hanif Qureshi and other senior officers of district administration were also present on this occasion.
