Chandigarh, May 8 –The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, today ordered Senior Town Planner, Gurgaon, to set DLF a deadline for the completing construction of its colonies. He also ordered that at least 25 per cent of the old developed colonies of DLF be transferred to the Municipal Corporation.
The Chief Minister was presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Redressal Committee in Gurgaon, today.
He issued the orders on the complaint of President, Resident Welfare Association, DLF Phase-IV, who had said that the colony was under construction for the last 27 years and that DLF was not providing facilities such as security, water, sewerage and lighting to plot holders.
The Chief Minister also issued orders for preparation of details of such land as had been acquired by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and had also been awarded. HUDA has not taken decision on such land.
On this issue, HUDA Administrator, Mr. Hardeep Singh, said that 380 civil writ petitions related to such land were pending in the High Court. The Chief Minister directed HUDA officers to get fencing of the acquired land done and install signboards marking the land as in the possession of HUDA.
In deference to the issue raised by MLA, Mr. Umesh Yadav, the Chief Minister also issued orders to get the encroachments removed from the paths from Sector 12 to Mianwali Colony and Sectors 4 and 5 and get roads constructed there.
On the issue of bungling in Ram Shanti Cooperative Group Housing Society, Sector 52, the Chief Minister ordered Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Group Housing Society, to verify the actual 96 members of the Society within 30 days and get conducted the process of election of RWA.
Those present at the meeting included Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, MLA, Sohna, Mr. Tejpal Tanwar, other senior leaders and prominent personalities.
