Chandigarh, May 9- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that a tool room would be set up to further promote industries in Faridabad.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Faridabad Rising Conclave organized by a National Daily in Suraj Kund, Faridabad today.
He said that the future of Faridabad city is bright and concerted efforts would be made for its development. The lost glory of Faridabad would be restored. He said that now Faridabad would be the best city in the National Capital region.
The Chief Minister said that any city would be smart only when its people have the strong feeling of socializing and brotherhood. He also appreciated the campaigns namely Healthy City Young City, Safe City, initiated by newspapers to get suggestions of people on these issues with an objective to beautify and make Faridabad a leading city among others. He said that Faridabad is included in the 100 Smart Cities selected in the country and hopefully it would also be included in the 20 Smart Cities coming up next year. He said that the city would truly become a Smart City if its people would work with the feel of belongingness to the city, to the state and to the country.
He said that the present pace of development and the number of ambitious projects coming up in Faridabad would definitely fetch Faridabad the status of a Smart City.
The Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar said that with the construction of Manjhawali Yamuna Bridge, the connectivity between Noida and Faridabad would be improved. Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mrs Seema Trikha said that under the guidance of the Chief Minister, Faridabad is also leading towards unprecedented development with the entire state.
