  • CM will personally review the Chief Minister’s announcements every month to know the progress of various projects and ensure their speedy execution. 8-08-2016

    • Chandigarh August 8: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today said that he would personally review the Chief Minister’s announcements every month  to know the progress of various projects and ensure their speedy execution. Also, he directed the Administrative Secretaries to review these announcements  with the Head of Departments concerned every Monday, who would update their status every week.
    • Mr Manohar Lal was reviewing the progress of projects concerning Chief Minister’s  announcements in a meeting with Administrative Secretaries of various departments here today.
    • The Chief Minister said that he would convene meeting of all concerned Administrative Secretaries every month to review the new announcements made by him and also fix the  time line for their completion. He directed that every department would complete all formalities with regard to the implementation of such announcements within a week of the announcement so as to ensure their early execution. Besides, he also directed the Administrative Secretaries to ensure that various development projects being implemented in the State are completed well before their fixed  time limit   and added that the progress of any such announcement should not be affected for  want of funds. In case, any Department faces difficulty regarding funds, it should inform well in time so that required funds could be arrange for the same, he added. 
    • While reviewing the progress of an announcement, Mr Manohar Lal directed that all the Deputy Commissioners in the State would personally visit the areas along the railway lines passing through their respective districts to ensure cleanliness as such areas and drains are usually more prone to open defacation. He said that though the land belongs to the Railways yet it is our responsibility to keep it clean and provide a healthy atmosphere to the people of the State. It was informed that the Urban Local Bodies Department has already started the process for setting up of mobile toilets along  the railway line. 
    • Reviewing the progress of shifting of dairies from the towns in the State, the Chief Minister directed the Urban Local Bodies Department to coordinate with Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department for early shifting of these dairies and also fix  a timeline for the same. He also directed to utilize funds under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission for the setting up of “Gau Abhayaranyas” (cow sanctuaries) in the State. 
    • The Chief Minister’s announcements concerning various departments including Public Works Department (Building and Roads), Urban Local Bodies, Irrigation, Public Health and Engineering, Power and Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board were reviewed.  
    • Others present in the meeting included Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr Rajesh Khullar, Additional Principal Secretary, Mr Rakesh Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Mr Sanjeev Kaushal, OSD to Chief Minister, Mr Mukul Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary of various departments.
